About Us

Hi, I’m Lukas from Stockholm, Sweden. Ever since I was a kid, I've been passionate about creating, whether with my hands or digitally. BMX biking grabbed my heart at 10, and I spent my teenage years in skateparks, perfecting my skills and embracing the creativity it allowed.

In high school, I discovered industrial design, which opened new doors for my creativity. Erik Lindgren’s 116 Bike Shop was the hub of the bike scene, where I met bike messengers and became curious about the job. The freedom and camaraderie of being a messenger quickly captured me.

In 2017, a wet, cold day led to the birth of THLP Bags. Frustrated with my leaking messenger bag, I decided to design my own. Despite initial challenges, I crafted a bag that met my needs and began selling it to others.

Why THLP?

THLP stands for “Tjena hej leverpastej” (Hello Hey Liver Paté), a humorous inside joke among my messenger friends. It started as a team name in a scavenger hunt and became a meaningful symbol, even leading to matching tattoos. When naming my company, I wanted something fun and memorable, so THLP Bags was born.
